Stunning scenery, rich culture, and a perfect escape from Melbourne. An exceptional full-day experience exploring the magnificent Grampians National Park with Autopia. The tour was well-paced, offering breathtaking scenery, opportunities to spot native wildlife, and insightful commentary about the area’s rich Indigenous culture. Although it’s a long day, the journey is well worth it for anyone looking to experience the natural beauty and spirit of Victoria beyond the city.

Carolyn S7/21/2023Don't miss to go on the Great Ocean Road trip! I enjoyed three fantastic days heading from Melbourne to Adelaide through fantastic, breathtaking landscapes! If you're lucky to have Ash as your guide, you'll have the best time of your life - he had many interesting and funny stories for us, made sure we'd see lots of kangoroos and koalas, took us save around and up in the Grampians and all the long way to Adelaide, always good for some jokes and laughter. Definitely thinking of doing the reverse trip on my next visit Down Under, 10 stars for the amazing time I had!

Erica Diaz8/10/2018Just a quick note to say a big thank you for an excellent tour (2 day grampians and great ocean road). Carla our guide was very informative and had a great sense of fun. The itinerary was very clear and we saw everything planned. The Grampians were beautiful and lovely sights on the Great ocean road. Only comment for improvement would be a bit more food for lunch/morning tea as is a long day. Thanks again - I would gladly recommend you to others.

Grampians One Day Tour Itinerary
Grampians
Morning Tea in Country Victoria
Brambuk Aboriginal Cultural Centre
Reeds Lookout & The Balconies
Reeds Lookout has stunning views of Lake Wartook, Victoria Valley and the Mount Difficult Range.
We’ll then walk along a shaded trail with gum trees and interesting rock formations to The Balconies. From here, you’ll see the Jaws of Death and other scenery that was the backdrop for the animated film Princess Mononoke.
Hike to the base of Mackenzie Falls
One of Victoria Valley’s most famous waterfalls, we’ll hike down to the base of Mackenzie Falls to see the falls and feel the mist on our faces.
This walk involves 250 steps up and down. If you’d prefer a shorter walk, there’s a flat walk along the top of the falls, too!
If Mackenzie Falls is closed, we’ll walk to Silverband Falls instead.
Boroka Lookout
Kangaroo and Wildlife Spotting
Fun fact: Halls Gap has so many kangaroos they use them as lawnmowers in the evenings!
You’ll see a range of Australian birds including kookaburras and emus and guaranteed to see kangaroos during your visit to the Grampians.
Also, keep an eye out for echidnas and wallabies. Please don’t feed the wildlife but do make sure your camera is fully charged!
Return to Melbourne
After our walk we’ll head back to the city. The 3-hour journey from the Grampians will include a stop for dinner (at your own expense).
Back in Melbourne by 8:30 pm. Drop off at your original pick-up point or nearest public transport.
