Acknowledgment
Phillip Island Tours Australia, operated by Get Lost Travel Pty Ltd (ABN 94 143 929 962), acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands and waters on which we operate. We pay our respects to Elders past, present, and emerging, and honour their continuing connection to Country, community and culture.
Our Contract
All bookings made with Phillip Island Tours Australia (a brand of Get Lost Travel Pty Ltd) are subject to these Terms and Conditions. Your booking confirmation and/or invoice outlines the services provided. Accredited Bus Number: AC003612.
Validity
Tour dates and itineraries are valid from 01 June 2024 to 31 March 2026 and are subject to change.
Standard Conditions
References to “we”, “our” and “us” refer to Get Lost Travel Pty Ltd and apply to associated brands including Autopia Tours, Wildlife Tours Australia, and more. By booking, you accept our Terms and Conditions. We recommend reviewing the tour itinerary and fitness levels required prior to booking. We are not responsible for travellers who are not familiar with our terms.
GLT is not liable for illness, injury, loss, or delays due to circumstances beyond our control. We strongly advise passengers to obtain comprehensive travel insurance, including COVID-19 coverage.
We reserve the right to modify itineraries, prices, and schedules or cancel tours due to weather, park closures, or other events. Third-party operators may be used occasionally. Prices are in AUD and subject to change.
Traveller Information
You must provide full name, contact details, dietary requirements, nationality or postcode, and any medical conditions when booking. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.
Booking Terms & Conditions
Customers’ Responsibilities
Travellers must comply with all government regulations at the time of travel. Cancellations due to changes in visa status or regulations are assessed at our discretion. Admin costs may be withheld depending on the timing of notice. Mask-wearing is at your discretion. No refunds will be given for partial participation or failure to join a tour.
Cancellations by Traveller
Day Tours:

0–1 days / within 24hrs: 100% cancellation fee

2+ days: Full refund, unlimited free date changes, or credit voucher
Extended Tours:

0–14 days: 100% cancellation fee

15+ days: Full refund, unlimited free date changes, or credit voucher
Credit vouchers are valid for 3 years and are transferable to other trips but not redeemable for cash.
Cancellations by Operator
Standard Cancellations:

Full refund, date change, or 3-year credit voucher
Force Majeure Events:

Full credit or refund minus unrecoverable costs
Force Majeure includes natural disasters, pandemics, war, or government orders. GLT is not responsible for incidental costs such as flights or insurance.
Acceptance of Risk
Australia’s natural environment can present hazards. Guides are trained in safety, but GLT is not liable for loss or injury.
Travel Insurance
We recommend travel insurance covering accidents, medical, repatriation, cancellations, COVID-19, personal liability, and luggage. Ensure your insurance provider details are accessible.
Alcohol Policy
Alcohol is not allowed on board. Entry may be refused to intoxicated passengers. Legal drinking age is 18, ID required.
Child Policy
Varies by tour. Refer to tour-specific info. Generally:

0–4 years: May be permitted on selected day tours with infant ticket. Child seat may be requested.

6–12 years: Limited to certain tours with moderate activity.

18+: Required for wine and alcohol-based tours.

6–17 years: On extended tours, private room required.

8–17 years: NT tours – swag/tent only. No infants under 7.
Doctor’s certificate required for passengers over 70 years on extended tours.
Prices & Surcharges
Prices may vary due to seasonality. Price changes post-booking do not apply to existing bookings. Surcharges may apply for credit card payments.
Luggage Policy
Day Tours: Max 5–7kg daypack Extended Tours: Max 15–20kg soft pack Large items (bikes, surfboards, mobility aids) may be refused unless pre-arranged.
Pick-up & Drop-off
Be ready 10 minutes prior at your designated pickup point. Missed pickups are the traveller’s responsibility.
Weather Policy
Tours operate in all weather unless unsafe (e.g. storms, extreme heat). Cancelled tours may be rescheduled or refunded. Rain or fog are not valid cancellation reasons.
Special Requirements
Notify us at booking or 7+ days prior regarding dietary or medical needs. We’ll try our best but can’t guarantee all requirements will be met. Consider bringing your own snacks.
